Your Teaching Archetype

How to describe your teaching style

Record yourself teaching. Remo listens, analyzes, and determines your archetype with a personalized rationale.

Use Safari on an iPhone or iPad, and your phone’s default browser on Android. Other browsers can’t reliably reach your microphone or keep your screen awake while you teach.

Not teaching right now? Take the written quiz instead.

The five archetypes.

The Motivator

You build people up by naming exactly what they just did.

The Experimenter

You change one thing, watch what it does, and adjust again if needed.

The Challenger

You set the bar higher than your client thinks they're capable of.

The Creative

When the instruction doesn't land, you reach for a picture that does.

The Academic

You always explain the why.

Before you record

Good
to know.

Recording tips+

Put your phone or laptop where it can hear you. If you walk around a lot, wear a bluetooth mic or earbuds. The level bar should move when you talk. If Remo hears nothing at all for the first ten seconds, it stops and tells you.

Keep the tab open and your screen on. If your phone screen locks or you switch apps, Remo keeps whatever it already has, but it can’t keep listening.

Want a more robust recording method? Record your class in your phone’s voice memo app and upload the file instead. A browser tab can be a fragile place to keep a recording alive for an hour, and your phone’s own app isn’t. You can upload files up to 100 MB.

Teach the way you always teach. There’s nothing to say differently.

What happens to your recording?+

Your audio is deleted after seven days. The transcript and your result stay, so the link you share keeps working.

Nothing is shared with anyone. Your name isn’t on the graphic, and neither is your client’s. Remo only ever quotes you, never them.

There’s no account here. Nothing to sign up for, nothing to cancel. The full details are in our Privacy Policy.

Client consent to record.+

If someone else is in the room, you must get their permission to record pursuant to your local laws.

Your result never quotes your client. Remo pulls the line that proves your archetype from your own teaching, and your client’s name doesn’t appear anywhere.

Troubleshooting+

Remo can’t reach your microphone. Allow the microphone for this site, then start again. Also check that your browser app has microphone access in your device’s settings: without that, no permission prompt can appear at all.

Your screen goes dark while you teach. Remo asks your browser to keep the screen awake, and the dot next to “Keep this tab open and your screen on” turns green when that worked. If it stays orange, your browser won’t hold the screen for you. Turn off auto-lock in your phone’s settings before you start, or switch to Safari on an iPhone or your default browser on Android.

The bar doesn’t move when you talk. Another microphone is probably selected. Stop, pick the right one, and start again.

Remo says it was too short. It needs about ten minutes of teaching to say anything worth reading. Longer than that is better.

It couldn’t send the recording. Your audio is stored temporarily on your device. Stay on the page and use the button “Try sending again.” If you closed the tab before getting your custom link with results, you’ll need to record again.

Is this what the Remo app does?+

This is a small portion of the session summary Remo creates, designed to give you a taste of what’s possible.

Remo itself listens to every session and remembers: what you worked on with each client, what you said, and what’s changed since last time. It reflects what you taught in graphics, lists, and categories. Then, Remo can analyze multiple sessions over time to find patterns and report client progress on their goals. Curious what Remo hears in every class?

This is one class, once. Remo does this and more after every session, and remembers.
