What we collect,
and what we don't.
The shape of this document.
This Privacy Policy describes how Remo (remopilates.com) collects, uses, stores, and shares information about you when you use our application and services. It applies to all users, including those participating in our beta program.
By using Remo, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use and contact us to request deletion of your data.
How to reach us.
Remo is operated by PWRHS LLC, based in the United States.

What goes in.
3.1 — Account information
Account information
When you create an account, we collect:
- Your name and email address
- Your password (stored in hashed form — we never store plaintext passwords)
- Account creation date and login activity
3.2 — Session content
Session content
When you record a session, Remo collects:
- Audio recorded through your device's microphone during a session. Audio is saved on your own device in short pieces as you record, then uploaded, transcribed, and deleted from both your device and our servers. This normally takes seconds. If a piece cannot reach us right away, it stays on your device until it can, and is deleted after seven days whether or not it ever uploads. Audio is never archived in either place, and the only lasting record of a session is its text transcript.
- The text transcript generated from your session audio. This is stored securely in our database and forms the basis for all session summaries and progress maps.
- AI-generated session summaries, exercise logs, corrections, client notes, and progress maps derived from your transcripts.
- Any manual edits or notes you add to a session summary.
3.3 — Usage data
Usage data
We collect basic technical information when you use the app, including:
- Browser type and device type
- Pages visited and features used within the app
- Session timestamps and general usage patterns
- A one-way fingerprint of your IP address, used to limit abuse of our public tools. We do not store the address itself.
We use PostHog for product analytics. It records which pages you visit, which features you use, and errors the app runs into, and it sets a cookie so repeat visits from the same browser are recognized. Once you sign in, these events are linked to your account and email address, so we can see how your setup is behaving when you write in for help.
PostHog also records screen replays of app pages, so we can see what happened when something breaks. Text is masked: client names, session notes, and anything you type are obscured in the recording. Client intake forms, body maps, and sub briefs are excluded from these recordings entirely. What remains is the layout of the page and the sequence of actions.
Analytics data is stored in the United States. Analytics traffic is routed through remopilates.com rather than PostHog's own domain, so it is not dropped by ad blockers. We do not use advertising cookies, retargeting pixels, or any tracking that follows you onto other websites.
When you first visit remopilates.com, your browser keeps a small note of how you arrived: the website that linked you (its domain only, never the full address), any campaign tags in the link, the page you landed on, and the date. If you sign up, that note is saved with your account so we can see which channels bring instructors to Remo. We remove email addresses and access codes from links before saving them, and we don't share this with anyone.
3.4 — Communications
Communications
If you contact us by email, we retain those communications in order to respond and improve our service.
3.5 — Quizzes and free tools
Quizzes and free tools
You do not need an account to use our teaching-archetype quiz or to upload a recording for an archetype result. When you do, we collect:
- Your email address, if you give us one, so we can send you your result
- Your answers, or the recording you uploaded and the transcript made from it
- Your result, and any feedback you leave about whether it fit
- A one-way fingerprint of your IP address, used only to stop the tool being abused
Uploaded audio is deleted seven days after you submit it. Your transcript and result are kept so your result page keeps working. If you gave us an email address, it goes to Kit, our email provider, along with a label for your result, so we can send you follow-up email. You can unsubscribe from those emails at any time, or email hello@remopilates.com to have your submission deleted.
What we do with it.
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, operate, and improve the Remo application
- Generate session summaries, exercise logs, and progress maps from your transcripts
- Send transactional emails (account confirmation, password reset, product updates)
- Respond to your support requests and feedback
- Understand how the app is being used so we can improve it
- Comply with legal obligations
Important
We do not use your session content, transcripts, or client data to train general-purpose AI models, and we never will without asking you first.
We do read real transcripts when we are improving how Remo analyzes sessions. When a summary comes out wrong, the only way to fix it is to test a change against the session that produced it. That work is done by the Remo team on individual sessions, not in bulk, and nothing about your data is shared outside the providers listed in this policy.
Any exercise suggestions or programming recommendations generated within Remo are derived from your own session history and publicly available sources — never from other users' data without their consent.
Where it lives.
Your text transcripts, session summaries, and account information are stored in Supabase's managed database infrastructure, hosted on AWS in the United States. Access is protected by row-level security policies, so no other Remo user can view your sessions.
One exception: when you email a session summary, any images in it (such as the muscle heat map) are placed at an unlisted web address so the recipient's email program can load them. These images carry no name or note, but anyone holding the address can view them.
PWRHS LLC, the company that operates Remo, has administrative access to the database for the purpose of debugging, supporting users, operating the service, and improving how Remo analyzes sessions. This access is limited to personnel who need it, and is not used for any other purpose.
We implement industry-standard security practices including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), hashed password storage, and access controls. However, no system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
How long we keep it.
We retain your data according to the following schedule:
- Active accounts: Your transcripts, session summaries, and progress maps are retained for as long as your account is active. This data is the core value of the product — you need it to track client progress over time.
- After account deletion: When we process your deletion request, your account, transcripts, summaries, and client records are removed immediately and cannot be recovered. We aim to process requests within 30 days of receiving them. Ask us first if you want a copy of your data — once it is deleted we cannot get it back.
- Beta and inactive accounts: We may delete accounts that have been inactive for an extended period, or beta accounts that never converted to a paid plan. We will email you at least 30 days before deleting anything, and you can keep your data by logging in or replying to that email. We do not currently run these deletions on a fixed schedule, so in practice your data is kept until you ask us to delete it or we notify you.
- Audio waiting to upload: If audio cannot reach us during a session (patchy signal, a closed tab), it stays on the device you recorded on until it uploads, for a maximum of seven days and no more than about six sessions' worth. Clearing your browser's site data for remopilates.com removes it immediately. Signing out does not, so on a shared device, clear site data when you are done.
- Quizzes and free tools: Audio uploaded to our archetype tool is deleted after seven days. Quiz answers, transcripts, and results are kept so your result page keeps working, until you ask us to delete them.
- Deleted sessions: Deleting an individual session permanently removes the associated transcript and summary from our database. This action cannot be undone.
Audio
Raw audio is held only for as long as transcription takes, on your device and on our servers alike, and is deleted afterwards. It is never archived. Only the resulting text transcript is saved.
What you can ask us to do.
Regardless of where you are located, you may contact us at any time to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate information
- Request deletion of your account and all associated data
- Export your session data
